Meet Our New JCDA Mascot!
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Name: Ellie the Elephant – Graceful and kind, Ellie rocks a pink tutu, teal leotard, and a whole lot of heart. She’s a sweet and steady friend to every dancer in the room.
Hometown: Harmony Hollow, near the River of Rhythm
Origin Story: Ellie grew up in a musical herd and learned to dance by stomping and swaying with the sounds of drums and flowing water. When younger elephants struggled with tempo, Ellie gently taught them using her trunk, her patience, and her ever-present smile.
Strong Characteristics: Ellie is gentle, wise, and a beautiful listener. She remembers every name, every birthday, and every dancer’s favorite routine.
Why JCDA Needs Her: “I believe dance is about connection—between music, movement, and each other. I’d love to be the heart of the JCDA family, reminding dancers that they are powerful, graceful, and never alone. I may have big ears, but I’m also here to listen, encourage, and uplift every dancer I meet.”
