The Kimberly Goodwin

Dancer of the Year Award

Kimberly Goodwin has been dancing as early as she could walk. She has grown up surrounded by amazing dance role models and was honored to official take the stage with Jaclyn Carol's Dance Academy with they first started. Kimberly was apart of the JCDA assistant staff and the JCDA Competition Team during her time spent, and was a leading member in the Team's High Scoring and Judge recognition success. She has placed overall in several competitions for her exquisite solo performances and continues to be a role model in the classroom, on stage and off. Kimberly has been individually recognized in conventions were she has received scholarships and awards. After graduating from Niagara Falls High School, we were lucky enough to welcome Miss Kimberly to our teaching staff in 2017. Miss Kimberly does excellent work with our youngest dancers to some of our oldest at both North Tonawanda and Newfane locations. Kimberly has been an excellent asset to our team and we are blessed to have her apart of our JCDA family.

The Abigail Czerwonka Leadership Award

Abigail Czerwonka has been dancing for 16 years, 10 of those years being under the direction of Jaclyn Carol's Dance Academy when we first opened. Over the past ten years, Abigail has danced along the side of our Competition team, earning High Scores, Special Awards and Overall Placements. She has been a key leader on the competition team, over the last 10 years, especially last year, when we attended our first National Dance Competition. She is a proud supporter of the whole JCDA family and will always thank them for all of the support, guidance and love they have given her over the years. Her leadership skills, that she took from the dance room has led her to work for numerous dance competitions, attend school at SUNY Oswego for Public Relations and Business Administration, as well as become JCDA new Social Media Director. Abigail will always say she could of never done any of it, without the lessons, role models and wisdom learned at Jaclyn Carol's Dance Academy.
